As one, an entire battery of Artillerymen load gun rounds into the chambers of the Army’s new all-digital M119A3 105mm lightweight howitzers and introduce the Strike Brigade to artillery’s digital age. Within the Fort Campbell training areas, June 7, the Soldiers and gun teams of Battery B, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team “STRIKE”, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) validate their new howitzers, which provide a more accurate and responsive fires to the Strike maneuver forces.

Steven Wentzell, the partnership training non-commissioned officer in charge assigned to the 725th EOD, overlooks the investigation process during simulated improvised explosive device training with Afghan soldiers at Forward Operating Base Sharana, Afghanistan, Dec. 19, 2012. The training provided will help certify designated Afghan army personnel to be explosive ordnance disposal technicians.
